Strong Communities Campaign & Capital Campaign:
What are they, what’s the difference, and what can I do?

The Siskiyou Family YMCA is a non-profit charitable organization that can be counted on to provide fitness, recreational programs, and a safe place for kids, families, and seniors in our community. The Y is more than just a recreation facility. The Y is a place to meet and connect with friends, a place to accomplish wellness goals and a place where kids can develop life skills through programs that help build a healthy spirit, mind, and body.

Strong Communities Campaign

The Strong Communities Campaign is held annually to raise funds that help keep the YMCA up and running. Donations are the critical source of income that helps keep our promise that no one is ever denied a place in a YMCA program because of inability to pay!

Current:$64,986

Goal:$205,000

October 13th-December 3rd

Your donations also help offset the following areas: keeping program costs low for both members and non-members, keeping comprehensive member support in the form of free fitness classes, child watch, and rock wall , free community events that impact over 750 community members each year, and filling the gaps in all the miscellaneous areas that help us keep the doors open.

We need your help to continue our good work in this community!

Capital Campaign: Phase 5

Our Phase 5 Capital Campaign is proactively raising money for the construction of an “Airnasium”. This indoor outdoor space will be the first in Siskiyou County and will house pickleball courts, batting cages, covered walking lanes, and so much more! Our goal is to raise community funds for the next three years, looking to break ground in 2028.

Current:$10,615

2025 Goal:$75,000

Total Goal: $250,000

Campaign Length: 2025-2028

We can’t build this Airnasium without the support of our community!
